16 Sep 3 SPEED DRILLS TO DO IN SEASON BEFORE PRACTICE
Newsflash: in season speed training won’t make athletes sore.
The workout I’m about to share should make athletes feel fresh and electric.
It will excite the Central Nervous System, as well as keep their body exposed to sprint work so they can keep improving their speed year-round.
Here are 3 drills to do before your practices (1-2x a week in season):
1. BALL OF FOOT STRIKE X 5 EACH
2. POGO HOPS X 5 SECONDS
3. 10M FLY X 2 with a 5 minute rest in between
Do these three drills consistently for six months straight, and watch your athlete’s speed blossom.
