BIO

My name is Erica

As a 3x college All-American, Hall of Fame inductee for Johns Hopkins Women’s Soccer, and former US and Brazil semi-professional soccer player, I know what it takes to play at a high level and have an edge in your performance. My passion for training and biomechanics took me to obtain my Master’s in Exercise Science in Performance Enhancement and Injury Reduction so I could help young girl athletes thrive.

I am a Speed, Agility, and Strength Coach in Tampa, Florida and online, who has been working with athletes for 13 years. I am also author of The Strong Female Athlete book, which is a science-based and experience-based text with a fresh, novel approach for youth female athletes to improve speed, reduce injury, and increase strength.

My mission is to help them become strong, resilient, and creative through exercise, while inspiring them to love movement and sports – to not see these as obligations, but rather, enjoyable escapes from the stressors of life.

I provide small group training in Tampa, Florida, where I teach strength, speed and agility in a competitive environment. I am blessed to work with youth athletes of all ages and levels from these leagues: ECNL, Girls Academy, ECNLR,  and recreational. I work with players from all clubs in Tampa, such as TBU, Florida Premier FC, West Florida Flames, Lutz Rangers, and Clearwater Chargers.

If you are unable to work with me in person, I offer my signature online training program, the Speed Queens Online Program, on my phone app. The game is more than the performance…it’s also having a positive and empowered mindset for life.

I could not be more grateful to inspire young athletes, teams and coaches across the world to love movement and sports.

My philosophy of training girls encompasses a long-term approach of meeting them where they are in their growth and maturation. It’s about doing the basics well, and recognizing that physical development takes time, patience, and work ethic.

I understand what goes on mentally, physically, and hormonally at each stage of development, which is why I have a specific 3-step pathway I take them through in my training programs so they stay HEALTHY, resilient to injury, and improve performance.

The long-term athletic development pathway is meaningful and fulfilling, and teaches kids to get excited about committing to daily, healthy habits.

If you are looking to become FAST and STRONG, and ready to work hard, I would love to start this rewarding process with you.

No quick fixes here.
