Anxiety comes with a plethora of different levels. Whether you deal with it in terms of game nerves, panic attacks, or chronic uneasiness or PTSD, it’s a serious issue that needs to be discussed more.
In the sports world, it’s easy to get distracted and disoriented from the noise, the pressure, the expectations and the comparison. And it becomes harder to be the strong athlete you want to be when your mind is blurred with worry.
I am beginning to open up this conversation more and invite people to help each other cope with anxiety.
