BIO

My name is Erica

As a 3x college All-American, Hall of Fame inductee for Johns Hopkins Women’s Soccer, and former US and Brazil semi-professional soccer player, I know what it takes to play at a high level and have an edge in your performance. My passion for training and biomechanics took me to obtain my Master’s in Exercise Science in Performance Enhancement and Injury Reduction so I could help young girl athletes thrive.

I am a Certified Speed, Agility, and Strength Coach (CSCS) as well as a return to play ACL rehab specialist in Tampa, Florida and online, who has been working with youth female athletes of ALL SPORTS for 14 years.

My mission is to help young girls become strong and resilient through strength training, while inspiring them to love working out and being healthy!

I provide small group training in Tampa, Florida, where I teach strength, speed and agility in a fun, but competitive environment to female athletes of all sports and levels.

I also strength train ACL-injured girls soccer players who are in the late stage of their rehab (must be at least 3 months post-surgery). Good ACL return to play isn’t about just getting cleared…it’s about returning stronger, FASTER and more explosive than they were prior to injury! It is about preparing to handle soccer game loads again with the hundreds of changes of direction movements and sprints.

I work with girls soccer players from all clubs in Tampa, such as TBU, Florida Premier FC, West Florida Flames, Lutz Rangers, and Clearwater Chargers. I work with other field and court based athletes – from lacrosse, to softball, to volleyball, to track, and flag football players. I was also a varsity lacrosse player and track athlete in high school!

If you are unable to work with me in person, I offer my signature online training program, the Speed Queens Online Program, on my phone app.

My philosophy of training girls encompasses a long-term approach of meeting them where they are in their growth and maturation. It’s about doing the basics well, and recognizing that physical development takes time, patience, and work ethic.

I understand what goes on mentally, physically, and hormonally at each stage of development, which is why I have a specific 3-step pathway I take them through in my training programs so they stay HEALTHY, resilient to injury, and improve performance.

We must meet girls where they in their own stage of development, pre-puberty and during puberty. Training must ALIGN with a girl’s age and maturation status to keep her healthy!

If you daughter is looking to become FAST, STRONG and CONFIDENT, and ready to work hard for the long-term, I would love to start this rewarding process with her.

NO quick fixes here! Only consistency. 🙂
