I’m a core training nerd.
There are a myriad of ways to attack the core, and given you’re doing it correctly and training all all muscles of the torso and hips, you’re on your way to having a tremendously durable core.
This week’s Exercise for Confidence is one of my favorite core exercises:
‘But, but, Erica, this doesn’t look like a core exercise,’ is probably what you’re thinking.
How about you give it a try first and let me know how you do? After all, the anterior load of the barbell fires the core in a way you’ve never experienced before.
Perform 2-3 sets for a 20-30 yard walk.
