New Year’s Resolutions are in full effect and when I ask my friends and family what they’re working on in 2018, more often than not, it has something to do with weight loss.
A few ones I’ve heard:
1. “I stopped eating sugar.”
2. “I want to lose 10 pounds in a month.”
3. “I want to eat
dirt and twigs raw food only.”
While I commend people for embarking on new pursuits of health, most of these resolutions are extreme and unsustainable.
Oh, so you stopped eating sugar? That’s cute. I’ll see you at the Baskin Robbins in a week anyway.
Fat loss is not easy. No bullshit.
It takes commitment, consistency, and not being an idiot. Sometimes, you have to be self aware enough to know that eating a box of pizza every night is probably not a good idea.
With that said, this week’s readings are all on fat loss. Enjoy.
