Writing a book is not easy.
There’s hours of editing, endless cups of cold brew coffee, and video outtakes of me shouting “fuck!” that go on behind the scenes.
Truthfully, writing my youth soccer fitness eBook has been a monster body of work, but I’m excited to blast out my diary of drills, coaching cues, and fun youth training games to the sports world.
The book is due out for release in November, which is just in time to buy it as a holiday gift.
It’s going to be a stellar read in you’re involved in youth soccer (or any sport), whether you’re a coach, trainer, parent, or player. There’s fitness, mindset, nutrition, and programming all in one place.
Sure, it applies to mostly soccer, but the strength, agility, and power exercises can apply to all sports, even Olympic curling.
Leading up to the release, I’ll be sharing soundbites and videos featured in the book. You know, just to tease you a little.
Here is one of my favorite videos on breaking down the squat:
Easy enough, right?
This teaching video reflects my philosophy on youth training: it should be simple.
There isn’t need for flashy contraptions or equipment. Oh, and the less you talk, the better.
To that end, let kids be kids is the overarching theme of my book. Stay tuned.
