There are not many exercises out there that hurt as much as Zercher variations.
Especially if you’re upping the ante on load, you’re bound to cringe with each rep.
People may think you’re constipated, or just being weak.

Why it’s awesome:
– Mainly an exercise to challenge the load on the core, since the barbell is on the anterior side of the body.
– To some degree, there’s a balance component with the marching, since you’re never on two legs the entire time.
– I’d be crazy if I didn’t mention the tremendous amount of bicep work you get from this. Plus, if you can withstand the pain at the creases of your elbows, you’re bound to pick up chicks (both figuratively and literally). ;-O
