Sometimes, keeping things simple is best when it comes to exercise programming.
However, I’d argue you can stick to the simple movements, while sprinkling in some creativity.

By no means am I trying to reinvent the wheel.
We’ve all seen regular chaos push-ups before. But if they aren’t hard enough, play with leverage by elevating the feet.
So why is this exercise awesome?
Sure, I could say it helps with serratus anterior activation, lumbo-pelvic stability, and shoulder stability, and triceps firing, but those are the reasons we already know. I think.
This exercise gets you get jacked. And it builds character. Boom.
