The past month has been a whirlwind of podcast appearances.
Maybe people want to hear me finally speak instead of write. Maybe people are drawn to my ridiculous use of the queen emoji. Or maybe people enjoy talking shop on performance training as much as I do.
Whatever the reason, I’m incredibly grateful to be featured on a plethora of podcasts with professionals I respect and love. They’re a great way for us to nerd out, while also sharing valuable content from our coaching experiences.
Jen Brickey, CEO of the Female Athlete Inner Circle, is one of these people. Not only is she a stellar and knowledgable coach, but she is leading the world of coaches who work with female athletes.
I highly recommend checking out here Facebook page if you coach girls or women.
And if you want to hear our discussion on what it’s like coaching female athletes in the gym and on the field and court, you should check out this podcast.
We talk about:
– How strength and conditioning helped me in high school and college
– Sports performance training and why girls should strength train
– What teams I currently work with and my work with female athletes
– How I pair skill training with strength and conditioning
– Preparing athletes for post college life
– Being a published writer
– Advice for all the online coaches out there and how to build an online business
